Shiwani Johnson

Shiwani Johnson has loved language her whole life. Born and raised in Hawaii, she has always been intrigued by the variety and diversity of culture and language in the islands. She studied at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, focusing on Spanish and French. Her studies allowed her to travel to Europe, to enjoy the full experience of language immersion. Shiwani brings her love of language to the classroom, where she tutors students grammar and vocabulary, guides students through the SSAT and SAT, and coaches critical reading techniques and reading comprehension. In her free time, Shiwani likes to read, do crossword puzzles, skateboard, and sew.
